We are a group of Rutland residents working to create and maintain gardens for folks who can no longer do the heavy work of gardening. We will till, plant, weed, and/or put the garden to bed. Volunteers are Rutland youth aged 16-22 who want to serve the community and build job skills.
Welcome!

What is RVGS?
Our mission is to:
provide Rutland youth with a positive, challenging way to serve their community and gain valuable work experience;
provide Rutland gardeners with competent, reliable help planting and maintaining vegetable gardens;
give Rutland youth a chance to get to know their neighbors;
grow healthy food; and
in so doing, make Rutland a healthier place to live.
We are recruiting volunteers aged 16-22 to help make this mission a reality. To apply, please email Kate at rutlandgarden@gmail.com!
